Dr. McCool is a native of Michigan, where he attended Central Michigan University on a basketball scholarship and graduated with a B.S. Degree in Biology/Chemistry in 1979. He then attended the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois and graduated in 1984. He then moved to the Las Cruces/El Paso area where he attended 2 years of post-graduate training. He started his private practice in El Paso in 1986 and is trained to treat all foot conditions, medically and surgically.
Dr. McCool is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Texas Podiatric Medical Association, and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine.
